PROGRAM DESCRIPTION

Join the fun with SchoolTribe’s Art Club!

Art Club brings creativity and artistic challenge to students in Pre-K and Kinder. Participants will explore various materials and techniques and learn about different artists through guided lessons and activities. This class is designed to improve fine motor skills, teach independence, build confidence, and help students develop new friends as they grow a love of art. All of our classes are taught by long-time arts educators.

Materials and activities include:

  • Water color, tempera, acrylic, glue, scissors, crayons, color pencils
  • Learn about important artists including Yayoi Kusama, Paul Klee, Hundertwasser, Kandinsky, Thiebaud, Monet, and more
  • Technique development in watercolor resist, glue resist, Paper Mâche, blending, and weaving
  • Explore various themes including yarn monsters, fairy-tale portraits, pop art, prehistoric art, and forest animals
