Storyteller Camp | Summer 2024

Unleash Your Child’s Imagination This Summer!

📖 Join Storyteller Camp for a journey through creativity, storytelling, and fun. ✍

Why is storytelling so important? In today’s world, being able to effectively share one’s ideas and passions is more crucial than ever. At Storyteller Camp, we believe that every child has a story that could one day change the world. They could be the next Neil Gaiman, Judy Blume, or Haruki Murakami  — authors who have inspired generations. By developing campers’ storytelling skills, we prepare them to share their views and passions, impacting the world around them profoundly and positively.

Discover a world where stories come alive! At Storyteller Camp, we encourage children aged 10-15 to explore their creativity, develop essential communication skills, and express their individuality through the art of storytelling. Our camp provides a supportive environment where young storytellers can:

  • Develop their own unique stories from concept to completion.
  • Engage in interactive lessons that cover the fundamentals of narrative construction, character development, and effective communication.
  • Participate in hands-on projects, creating mini versions of their stories and sharing them with peers.
Activities Include:

đź““ Exploring Creative Expression: Each camper’s journey includes creating a comprehensive story plan, developing relatable characters, and constructing engaging plots.

💬📝 Communication Skills Development: Beyond storytelling, campers will learn about empathy, problem-solving, and the importance of perspective in communication.

🧠 Creating Engaging Content: From the initial brainstorming to the final presentation, campers will be actively involved in a variety of storytelling formats and media.

Once Upon a Time:
  1. A parent saw a fun camp and enrolled their child! This was the start of the child’s own hero’s journey, thanks to the guidance of their parent. For the parent knew the importance of a strong start and saw the limited spots available in the camp.
  2. Then, the child became excited!  They dreamt that nothing could stop them once they learned the tools of storytelling, and they couldn’t wait for the camp to begin.
  3. Together, they packed a bag of supplies for the adventure! Campers should bring a lunch and some drinks and snacks to keep their imagination properly fueled. If they would like to bring their own device or their favorite journal for working on projects, that’s great.

This story won’t have a happy ending until after the camp! So sign up today!
