Zero Waste Fashion Spring Camp

We will learn about the most important trend in fashion of our time!
Zero Waste is a method of crafting accessories and apparel that is based on sustainable practices. We take leftover, discarded, and uncommon materials, pre-made objects, and vintage clothes and remix them or use them as raw materials for our creations.
Our goal for this week-long camp is to learn how to make at least 3 new wearables, and have our own Fashion Show!

Day 1 – Learn basic stitches, and sew a mini tote bag.
Day 2 – Learn how to sketch an idea, and make a brooch.
Day 3 – Learn how to upgrade a pre-loved piece of clothing.
Day 4 – Learn how to upcycle materials to make a new wearable.
Day 5 – Learn how to make a Fashion Show together.
